Winter for Widows.
I've been playing a bit of Overwatch lately. It's a terrific game and if you can you should play it. I painted here one of the support class, the French sniper-assassin Widowmaker. When I first watched in-game footage I saw Widowmaker fighting in the Volskaya Industries map and presumed her to be a Russian. Whilst this was not the case the impression stays, and once I wake up Saint Basil's Cathedral is going into the background of this image.
Till then this is a purple mechanical spider Natalie Dormer standing in the tundra.

The Adventures of Oscar Bug.
I have been away for the last few weeks working on a commission for a comic strip about pest control. I used to work as a technician for a pest control company (ALPECO) where we exterminated primarily bed bugs and cockroaches using non-chemical-based products. My former boss has now decided to raise awareness to this system of extermination, which in no way endangers humans (unlike most sprays), with a monthly comic strip.
Here is page one. I have not uploaded the version with dialogue due to copyright (I'll check with my boss if I can publish online his completed comic) but I can easily summarise the tale so far.
Oscar Bug writes to his family saying he has survived the move from his old mattress home with his hundreds of friends and relations, despite his suitcase looking too clean. The flight was very cold but he survived, and he woke up in an open suitcase on a new bed. He was about to make it his new home when he realised exterminators had previously used chemical sprays, and he hides in the deepest part of the suitcase and waits to move to a new destination. But out of the gassy haze of the chemical wasteland comes a lone survivor bed bug. Her name is Claire. She's pretty great.
Gripping stuff as you can see, but if I get a paycheck I'll do most things.

Mer Duchess
From The Adventures of Doctor Different (which I mentioned in an earlier painting, The Space Pilot) comes an amphibious 'Mer.' I combined both amphibious, mermaid-esque qualities, with traditional conceptions of aliens - in particular the 'little green men' or 'grey aliens' of popular culture. The 'armour' is based off Dunkleosteus head-bones. The background was intended to be deep-sea with aquatic particles showing up in the light of some submersible, but it ended up looking more like outer space.
But is not sea much like outer space? The two last great frontiers? Think about that sheeple. The truth is out there.
I have been drinking.
This is the same image as I uploaded before, but I added some shading and made the background darker. Too much colour makes me feel too whimsical.

Duchess of the Mer-Folk
I dabble with free-hand digital art with the Duchess of the lunar mer-folk, Kasey. She's fun at parties.
Her ceremonial armour (for normally she wears like track-pants and a fashionable yet functional cardigan) is based off the bones of Dunkleosteus, a giant fish of the Late Devonian period.

First iteration of 'The Space Pilot'
Today (13/06/2016) I painted a digital image of 'The Space Pilot' (see link below). But the image of the 'Space Pilot' has been in my mind at least least since 2014 when I first sketched a rough image of her to take up some space in the corner of a page I was filling with scifi guns (which I will one-day publish in the 'sketches' folder of my account here). In the same year I sculpted this little monstrosity of anatomy. I made it because my father was having trouble justifying the sculptures he made to my mother, who thought the girls he crafted had entirely unnatural feminine features. And maybe they did. But I knew I could do better/worse.
At this small a scale I could not craft a face so I gave her a gas mask instead.
What a ride we have been on, Space Pilot, what a ride.

Aw that is so lovely of you to say! I am flattered you consider me 'incredibly talented.' You're incredibly talented yourself, I've just been looking through your gallery again!
Thank you! I am glad you enjoy the sketches, I always wonder if I should upload them because they don't have that 'finished' look a painting has.
Hahaha I eagerly anticipate future awesomeness from yourself my friend!
:D
The cookie was delicious. I am new here and don't yet know how to give one in return. Pretend I gave you a cookie. :D
